Pali is one of India's largest fabric-dyeing and processing clusters, and the air inside a Pali dyeing house tells you exactly why ventilation here is not optional. The jigger and soft-flow machines throw off steam, the floor stays wet and humid, and the acidic and chemical fumes from the dye baths sit heavy in the building. On top of that, interior Rajasthan summers cross 45 to 48C, so you have humid heat and corrosive fumes stacked together. That combination eats ordinary steel exhaust fans within months and makes the shed genuinely unsafe to work in for long shifts.
We have spent years on textile floors exactly like these, and the answer in Pali is rarely one product. Dyeing and processing units need FRP exhaust fans for textile dyeing in Pali because fibre-reinforced plastic does not rust out in acidic, steam-laden air the way galvanised steel does. Weaving, yarn and finishing sheds need HVLS fans to push the truss heat off the operators. And because Rajasthan's heat in the dry stretches is dry, evaporative air coolers genuinely work here for spot-cooling people at workstations, which is not always true in a humid coastal town.
We should be straight with you about where we are based. Aruth manufactures in Ahmedabad, at our own workshop in Satellite, not in Pali. We are not a same-city workshop. What we do is install across the whole of Rajasthan, including the Pali, Mandia Road and Balotra belts, through our own engineers, and every job starts with a free on-site survey so the layout and the numbers are built around your actual shed, not a template.
This page breaks down the main Pali textile pockets, why each one needs ventilation, and which Aruth system fits. Wherever your unit sits, off Mandia Road, inside the Pali RIICO area, or out in the Balotra dyeing cluster, the first step is the same: a free site survey, an airflow calculation and a written quote, with no obligation.

Pali & Mandia Road RIICO Industrial Areas
Textile dyeing, fabric processing & polyester viscose yarnThe heart of the Pali dyeing cluster, where dyeing houses, fabric processing units and polyester viscose yarn mills run side by side along the Pali and Mandia Road RIICO areas. The dye baths and finishing lines release acidic chemical fumes and steam-laden humid heat that corrode ordinary steel fans fast, so these units need FRP corrosion-proof exhaust to evacuate fumes and humidity, with HVLS fans over the yarn and weaving sheds to beat the 47C truss heat.
Which Aruth system solves which Pali problem
The short answer for Pali: FRP exhaust fans to physically pull out acidic fumes and steam from dyeing and processing, HVLS fans for comfort over large yarn and weaving sheds, and evaporative air coolers to spot-cool people in the dry heat. Most Pali units we fit end up with a mix, because the loads stack, a dyeing house needs FRP exhaust to clear the fumes AND HVLS to keep the floor workable in 47C.
The deciding factor is what is actually in your air. If the problem is acidic, steam-laden fume that you need to physically get out of the building, that is the dye house, the printing tables, the finishing line, you need exhaust, and in that corrosive air it must be FRP corrosion-proof exhaust, not steel, or it rusts through within a year. If the problem is hot, still air over a big open shed, the yarn hall, the weaving floor, the warehouse, HVLS is the answer. And because Pali's summer heat is dry for long stretches, evaporative coolers actually drop the temperature for people at fixed workstations.
Why FRP exhaust matters more in Pali than almost anywhere
FRP corrosion-proof exhaust is the single most important call for a Pali dyeing unit, because the air here is genuinely aggressive. Between the acidic dye chemicals, the constant steam and the salt and humidity off the wet floor, a galvanised or mild-steel exhaust fan starts pitting and rusting within months, and a corroded fan is a fan that stops moving the air you need it to move. We supply FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) exhaust fans up to about 44,000 CFM that simply do not corrode in that fume, sized to keep the dye house and processing floor properly ventilated.
The safety side is the real point. When the fumes and steam are not being evacuated fast enough, workers breathe acidic vapour through 8 and 10 hour shifts in 45 to 48C heat, and that is both a health problem and a productivity problem. We size the FRP exhaust during the survey to the actual fume and steam load of your machines and the openings you already have, so the air in the building is changing over often enough to keep the floor genuinely workable.
Why Pali yarn and weaving sheds switch to gearless HVLS
For the dry-heat side of the building, the number that moves Pali plant owners is the power bill. Our HVLS fans run on IE5 gearless PMSM motors, so a single 7.3 m fan covers up to about 20,000 sq.ft on roughly 1.5 to 1.7 kW, replacing 15 to 20 wall or pedestal fans that together draw far more and cool far less. Across our installs that works out to up to 30% lower fan-related power, with typical payback inside 18 to 30 months depending on running hours.
Gearless also means almost no maintenance, there is no gearbox to leak oil onto your yarn or seize up in the lint and dust of a textile shed. Add the 2-year warranty and the maths gets simple. We run the actual numbers for your shed during the free survey: floor area, truss height, headcount, your current fan count and your Rajasthan tariff, then show you the kW saved and the payback in months before you commit to anything.
Ahmedabad-made, installed across Pali and all of Rajasthan
We are honest about this: we manufacture in Ahmedabad, not in Pali, so we are not a local same-city workshop. Our workshop at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015 builds the fans, which means short lead times and spares on the shelf, and our own engineers, not a third-party dealer, handle the survey, install and after-sales for Pali jobs.
What you get in Pali is our own team coming to you across the RIICO areas, Mandia Road and the Balotra cluster, plus a free on-site survey before anything is quoted. The survey is genuinely useful: an experienced ventilation engineer on your floor, measuring the area and truss height, checking your fume, steam and heat load, and giving you a layout and a written quote. We do this anywhere in Rajasthan, with no obligation to buy.
From the field
Verified installCase study, a Mandia Road dyeing unit clearing fumes and 47C heat
Before — the problem
A fabric dyeing and processing unit off Mandia Road in the Pali RIICO area called us in peak summer. Their dye house ran soft-flow and jigger machines across roughly 14,000 sq.ft, and the air was thick with steam and acidic fume by mid-morning. They had been replacing rusted steel exhaust fans almost every season, and even with those running the floor was sitting around 46 to 47C with the fume hanging in the building. Two shifts were short-staffed because operators could not take the air.
What Aruth installed
We surveyed the unit, measured the fume and steam load against the openings, and put in FRP corrosion-proof exhaust fans sized to the dye-house volume so the air was changing over fast enough to clear the acidic vapour and humidity. Over the adjoining yarn and finishing shed, where the heat was dry rather than fume-laden, we fitted two 6.1 m gearless HVLS fans to wash the floor with a steady 1.5 to 2 m/s breeze at operator height.
The result
The result: the dye-house fume and steam cleared visibly, the FRP fans are built not to corrode the way the old steel ones did, and the finishing-shed floor dropped a felt 4 to 5C. The two HVLS fans replaced 16 wall fans the unit had been running, so on their hours the owner is looking at payback inside roughly two years on fan power alone. Everything is covered by our 2-year warranty and serviced by our own team out of Ahmedabad.
