Vatva GIDC
GIDCOne of Asia's largest chemical and engineering estates, dyes, intermediates, pharma chemicals, plastics and CNC machining. Acidic and solvent fumes corrode ordinary steel fans, so most Vatva units need FRP exhaust to extract vapour plus HVLS fans to cool large machining bays.
Why Ahmedabad factories need engineered ventilation, not more pedestal fans
Most Ahmedabad sheds are over-heated and under-ventilated because they were never designed for airflow, they were designed for floor space. A typical 20,000 sq.ft tin-roofed shed in Vatva or Odhav traps radiant roof heat, machine heat and trapped humidity, and a row of pedestal fans just pushes that hot air around at head height.
The fix depends on the problem. Where the issue is stagnant heat and tired workers across a large open floor, one or two HVLS fans replace 15-20 pedestal fans and create a steady 1-2 m/s breeze that feels 3-5°C cooler. Where the issue is fumes, solvent vapour or dyeing steam, exhaust fans, FRP where the air is corrosive, are the only real answer because they physically remove the bad air. Most of our Ahmedabad jobs use both.

Verified installCase study: a Narol textile processing unit cuts shed heat and humidity
Before — the problem
A textile dyeing and finishing unit in Narol came to us with a familiar problem: a 22,000 sq.ft processing shed where wet-process steam and 44°C summer air made the inspection and stitching floor unbearable by mid-morning, and where their old galvanised exhaust fans had rusted through within two seasons because of the corrosive, moisture-heavy air.
What Aruth installed
We did a free site survey, measured a roof height of about 8 m and mapped where the steam was collecting. Our recommendation was a combination, three 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open stitching and inspection floor to create a steady breeze and keep workers comfortable, plus four FRP exhaust fans (corrosion-proof, sized around 40,000+ CFM total) on the dye-house wall to physically pull the humid, acidic air out instead of letting it hang.
The result
After installation the floor ran noticeably cooler and drier, the steam haze cleared, and because the new fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors the unit replaced roughly 18 pedestal fans with far lower running cost, fan-related power dropped sharply versus their old setup. The FRP bodies don't corrode, so they are covered by our 2-year warranty rather than being a yearly replacement. Being close by in Ahmedabad, our team handled survey, fabrication and installation inside the same week.
