HVLS Fans & Exhaust Fans in Sanand for Auto and Semiconductor Plants

Aruth Ventilation Systems supplies and installs HVLS fans, exhaust fans and air coolers for Sanand's auto and semiconductor plants, with our manufacturing base just 30 to 40 km away in Satellite, Ahmedabad. Because Sanand is a one-hour drive from our workshop, a Tata, MG or Maruti ancillary shed, a Micron or Kaynes ESDM unit, or a Sanand GIDC engineering plant usually gets a free on-site survey within a day or two and installation in the same week. We have completed 230+ installations across India, and our IE5 gearless HVLS fans cut fan-related power bills by up to 30%.

Sanand has become Gujarat's most important manufacturing town in barely fifteen years, and we have watched the change happen shed by shed. What started with the Tata Nano line is now a full auto and semiconductor hub along the Sanand-Mandal-Becharaji corridor: Tata, MG and Maruti Suzuki assembly plants, hundreds of auto ancillary sheds feeding them, and now Micron, Kaynes and Tata building semiconductor ATMP and ESDM units. Every one of these buildings has the same enemy in summer, Gujarat's heat, which pushes shed temperatures 4 to 6 C above an outdoor reading that itself crosses 43 C from March to June.

The ventilation problem in Sanand is really two problems. The vast assembly plants, press shops and ancillary sheds are huge open high-bay floors that trap weld heat, paint-shop fumes and radiant roof load, and that is exactly where large-volume air movement from HVLS fans and clean exhaust extraction earn their keep. The newer semiconductor and electronics units have a different need: stable, clean, low-turbulence air for support areas around cleanrooms, plus reliable exhaust for utility and chemical-handling zones. We handle both.

We cover the full ventilation stack so you deal with one team for the whole site: HVLS fans from 2.4 m up to 7.3 m for broad, gentle air movement across large floors; industrial and FRP corrosion-proof exhaust fans up to about 44,000 CFM to pull out weld fumes, paint solvent vapour, heat and humidity; and industrial and portable air coolers for spot cooling at workstations, lines and loading bays.

Every Sanand job starts with a free on-site survey. We drive out, measure your floor area, roof height, machine and weld heat load and the openings you already have, then tell you honestly whether you need fans, exhaust, evaporative cooling or a mix. We supply and install all over India, but for Sanand we have the added advantage of being right next door in Ahmedabad, so there is no out-of-state lead time and no template quote.

Sanand GIDC (I & II)

GIDC

Sanand's anchor estate, packed with automobile plants, auto component makers, pharma and heavy engineering units in large high-bay sheds. Welding bays, press shops and paint lines throw off heat and fumes, so most units here run 6.1 m or 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open floor together with FRP and industrial exhaust to clear solvent vapour and weld smoke.

Which product solves which Sanand problem

The right fix in Sanand depends on whether your problem is stagnant heat, fumes, or clean-air control, and most plants here need a combination. A press shop and an ATMP support area do not get the same answer.

For the big open floors of assembly plants, press shops, ancillary sheds and Bol warehouses, the issue is stagnant heat and tired workers, and HVLS fans are the answer: one 7.3 m fan covers up to about 20,000 sq.ft and creates a steady 1 to 2 m/s breeze that feels 3 to 5 C cooler, replacing 15 to 20 pedestal fans. Where the problem is weld fumes, paint solvent vapour, or process heat and humidity, exhaust fans physically remove the bad air, and we use FRP corrosion-proof bodies wherever the air carries acid mist or solvent that would rust ordinary steel within a year. For semiconductor and electronics support zones we keep airflow clean and low-turbulence, and pair it with sealed, high-CFM exhaust on utility and chemical rooms. For spot relief on lines and loading bays through Gujarat's summer, industrial and portable air coolers do the job without cooling the whole shed.

Auto assembly, press & paint shops: 6.1 m and 7.3 m HVLS fans for whole-floor air movement, plus FRP exhaust to pull weld and paint fumes out
Auto ancillary sheds (Sanand GIDC, Bol): one to three HVLS fans per shed plus wall exhaust to clear heat and welding smoke together
Semiconductor / ESDM (Micron, Kaynes): low-turbulence HVLS air movement for support and warehouse zones, high-CFM sealed exhaust for utility and chemical areas
Pharma & engineering: controlled, clean airflow with high-CFM exhaust paired with HVLS fans to hold temperature without raising dust
Loading bays & workstations: industrial and portable air coolers and mist fans for targeted spot cooling
All HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors, up to 30% lower power bills, backed by a 2-year warranty

Why Sanand factories choose Aruth

Sanand plants choose us because we are a manufacturer 30 to 40 km away in Ahmedabad, not a distributor quoting freight from another state. We build HVLS fans, industrial and FRP exhaust fans and air coolers at our own workshop at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015, which means factory pricing, custom sizes fabricated in-house, and after-sales that is a one-hour drive rather than a logistics exercise.

It also means we already know the Sanand corridor before we arrive. We understand the high-bay roof heights of the assembly and ancillary sheds, the clean-air sensitivity of the ESDM units near Micron and Kaynes, and the power and dust situation across Sanand GIDC and Bol. That local knowledge is why our recommendations are measured to your shed, not pulled from a template, and why we stand behind every fan with a 2-year warranty.

Free on-site survey and installation across India

We give every Sanand customer a free on-site survey, and we supply and install all over India. For Sanand specifically, being based in Ahmedabad means we can usually reach your unit within a day or two of your call and complete a standard installation in the same week, with no out-of-state lead time.

On the survey we measure floor area, roof height, machine and weld heat load and your existing openings, then recommend the right mix of HVLS fans, exhaust and cooling with honest sizing. Whether you are a single ancillary shed in Sanand GIDC, a semiconductor support building near Micron, or a multi-bay assembly plant, you talk to one team for survey, fabrication, installation and AMC. Case study: a Sanand GIDC auto ancillary shed cools its welding and assembly floor

  1. Before — the problem

An auto component supplier in Sanand GIDC, feeding pressed and welded parts to one of the corridor's big assembly plants, came to us with a familiar problem: a 24,000 sq.ft high-bay shed where weld heat, radiant roof load and 44 C summer air made the welding and sub-assembly floor unbearable by mid-morning, and where a row of pedestal fans just pushed hot, smoky air around at head height.

  2. What Aruth installed

We did a free on-site survey, measured a roof height of about 9 m, and mapped where the weld fumes were collecting over the fixture lines. Our recommendation was a combination: three 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open assembly floor to create a steady whole-floor breeze, plus four industrial wall exhaust fans (sized around 40,000 CFM total) on the weld-bay wall to physically pull the heat and welding smoke out instead of letting it hang under the roof.

  3. The result

After installation the floor ran noticeably cooler, the welding haze cleared, and because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors the unit replaced roughly 18 pedestal fans with far lower running cost, with fan-related power dropping sharply. The fans carry our 2-year warranty, and being just an hour away in Ahmedabad, our team handled survey, fabrication and installation inside the same week.
