HVLS, Exhaust & Cooling, across Bengaluru & Karnataka

HVLS Fans, Exhaust Fans & Air Coolers for Bengaluru's Machine Tool, Electronics & Engineering Plants

We are Aruth Ventilation Systems, and we supply and install HVLS fans, exhaust fans, FRP exhaust and air coolers across Bengaluru's machine tool, electronics and engineering belt, from Peenya and Bommasandra to Whitefield. Bengaluru sits on the south Karnataka plateau, so the weather stays mild year-round and the real problem on most floors is not raw heat but still, trapped air sitting over concentrated machine heat, weld smoke and solder fume. That is why here we lead with large gearless HVLS fans to move air across big machining and warehouse sheds, plus industrial exhaust to pull fumes and heat out near the source. Our HVLS fans run IE5 gearless PMSM motors that cut fan power by up to 30%, every fan carries a 2-year warranty, and one 7.3 m fan covers up to around 20,000 sq.ft. We are an Ahmedabad manufacturer, and our own engineers travel in across Karnataka for a free on-site survey. Call +91 88665 44445.

Walk a machine tool or fabrication shed in Peenya on an afternoon and the complaint is rarely the temperature on the wall, it is the dead, still air. Bengaluru's plateau climate is genuinely mild, summers mostly sit in the low to mid 30s and nights stay cool, so a factory owner here does not have the punishing dry heat of Ballari or the sticky humidity of Mangaluru. What you do have is a tall, packed shed full of machine tools, grinders, welders and lathes all throwing off heat, and that heat plus the fume just hangs in the air because nothing is moving it.

We have spent years on factory floors solving exactly this, and the first thing we tell Bengaluru plant owners is that mild weather changes the answer. You do not need heavy cooling here. What you need is air movement to break up the trapped, warm, fume-laden layer over the floor, and exhaust to physically pull machine heat, weld smoke and solder fume out of the building. That is why we lead with HVLS plus exhaust across Bengaluru and treat evaporative coolers as a spot tool for tool rooms and packing areas, not as the main system.

This page lays out the right combination for a Bengaluru unit, area by area: HVLS fans for destratification and gentle whole-floor air movement over machining, fabrication, electronics and warehouse sheds; industrial and FRP exhaust for weld fumes, solder smoke, machine heat and any corrosive process air; and a focused place for coolers at tool rooms and packing bays. We manufacture all of it and install across Peenya, Bommasandra, Whitefield and the wider Bengaluru industrial belt.

Aruth Ventilation has completed 230-plus installations across India. We are honest about how we serve Bengaluru: we are an Ahmedabad manufacturer, so we are not a same-city workshop here. Instead our own engineers travel in for a free site survey, and we handle supply, install and after-sales ourselves rather than handing you to a local dealer. For a layout and a number that fit your shed, the free survey is the fastest first step.

Peenya Industrial Area

KIADB/KSSIDC estate: Machine tools, Engineering, Auto components, Fabrication
1/3

One of Asia's largest industrial estates, packed with machine tool makers, engineering workshops, auto-component units and fabrication shops. These dense sheds run lathes, grinders, CNC machines and welders that pile machine heat and weld smoke into still air, the classic case for HVLS to move air across the whole floor plus exhaust pulling weld fume and heat off the line.

How to choose: HVLS vs exhaust vs coolers for a Bengaluru factory

The short answer for Bengaluru: HVLS fans for whole-floor air movement over large sheds, exhaust fans to physically remove machine heat and fume, and coolers only for spot use in tool rooms and packing areas. Bengaluru's plateau climate is mild, so unlike a hot, dry city you are not fighting raw heat, you are fighting still air over concentrated machine heat and weld or solder fume. Most plants we fit end up with HVLS plus exhaust, because the loads stack: a machining shed needs HVLS to move air across the floor AND exhaust to pull weld smoke and process heat out.

The deciding factor is what is actually in your air. If the problem is warm, still air over a big shed, a Peenya machine-tool floor, a Whitefield electronics line, a Bommasandra warehouse, HVLS is the answer: one 7.3 m gearless fan moves a gentle 1 to 2 m/s breeze across up to around 20,000 sq.ft and makes the floor feel 3 to 5 degrees cooler just by moving the air. If the problem is something you need to physically get out of the building, weld smoke, solder fume, machine and grinding heat, or solvent vapour in a pharma or chemical unit, you need exhaust, and where that vapour is corrosive you need FRP exhaust fans that will not rust out.

Open, tall machining and warehouse sheds (Peenya, Bommasandra, Whitefield): HVLS fans 2.4 m to 7.3 m, up to 30% lower bills than banks of conventional fans.
Machine tool, lathe and grinding shops (Peenya): HVLS over the floor plus exhaust to clear machine heat, grinding dust and weld smoke.
Electronics & EMS solder lines (Whitefield, Bommasandra): HVLS for gentle, dust-free comfort plus targeted exhaust to clear solder smoke off the breathing zone.
Corrosive fumes (Bommasandra pharma, plating, chemical units): FRP corrosion-proof exhaust up to around 44,000 CFM.
Tool rooms and packing areas: focused use of evaporative coolers for the few people at fixed stations, since Bengaluru's mild, drier plateau air lets a cooler work there.
Heavy weld and fabrication bays: high-capacity exhaust to evacuate fume and heat, with HVLS away from the weld line.

Why Bengaluru's machine tool and electronics plants need air movement plus extraction

Bengaluru is India's machine tool, engineering and electronics heartland, with thousands of units across Peenya, Bommasandra and Whitefield plus the aerospace and defence work around HAL and BEL, and that density is what makes ventilation here a real engineering job rather than a few fans on a wall. Machining, fabrication, electronics assembly, auto components and warehousing all share a shed roof in this belt, and each one throws off a different mix of machine heat and fume into air that, on a mild plateau, simply is not moving on its own.

The heat here is process heat, not weather heat, and that is the key point for Bengaluru. Ambient temperatures are comfortable most of the year, but a shed full of CNC machines, lathes, grinders, weld stations and reflow ovens generates its own heat load, and in a tall steel-roof building that heat rises and stratifies into a warm, stale layer trapped near the roof while the floor stays poorly mixed. Add weld smoke, grinding dust and solder fume sitting in still air, and you get a floor that is warm, stuffy and unhealthy to breathe even when it is pleasant outside.

So a Bengaluru plant usually needs HVLS and exhaust working together, matched to the area: HVLS to destratify and gently move air across the big open sheds, and exhaust to extract fume and machine heat at the source. Coolers stay a focused, spot-use tool for tool rooms and packing. Get the match right and you keep the floor comfortable, clear the fumes, lift productivity through the shift, and stop wasting power on dozens of small fans that barely stir the air.

Process heat: CNC machines, lathes, grinders, weld robots and reflow ovens generate heat indoors even on mild Bengaluru days.
Stratification: warm, stale air trapped near the roof of tall machining, electronics and warehouse sheds.
Weld smoke, grinding dust and solder fume that must be pulled off the operator breathing zone.
Dense, crowded floors: airflow has to reach hundreds of operators on the line, not just one corner.
Solvent and process vapour in Bommasandra pharma and chemical units that needs corrosion-proof FRP exhaust.
Mild plateau climate: the fix is air movement and extraction, not heavy evaporative cooling.

HVLS fans for machining, electronics and warehouse sheds

For Bengaluru's large machine tool floors, electronics lines and warehouse sheds, HVLS (High-Volume, Low-Speed) fans are the right tool because they move enormous volumes of air at a gentle, low-velocity breeze and destratify the shed, mixing the warm, stale layer near the roof back down and circulating the whole floor evenly. A single large HVLS fan creates a slow column of air that spreads across the floor, instead of the narrow blast you get from pedestal or wall fans that only helps the few people standing right in front.

That gentle, even airflow is what lifts productivity on a Bengaluru line. Operators working a full shift in a well-circulated environment that feels 3 to 5 degrees cooler stay sharper and quicker than those working under a warm, stagnant roof layer, and in a warehouse the same destratification keeps stored goods and the picking crew comfortable. There is no hard draught to disturb light components, paperwork or precision assembly work, which matters on a Whitefield or Bommasandra electronics floor.

We make five sizes, 2.4 m, 3.6 m, 4.9 m, 6.1 m and 7.3 m, drawing roughly 0.4 to 1.7 kW each on IE5 gearless PMSM motors. One 7.3 m fan covers up to around 20,000 sq.ft of open floor, so a big Peenya machining shed or a Bommasandra warehouse often needs only a handful of fans where it would otherwise run dozens of pedestal fans. Fewer fans, far less power, and a clear floor.

Destratifies tall sheds, mixes the warm roof layer back down for even floor comfort.
Covers up to ~20,000 sq.ft per 7.3 m fan; five sizes from 2.4 m to 7.3 m.
IE5 gearless PMSM motors draw only ~0.4-1.7 kW, up to 30% less than conventional fans.
Gentle, low-turbulence airflow that won't disturb light electronics, parts or paperwork.
Frees up floor space and cuts the number of fans you maintain across the line.

Weld-fume, solder, grinding & FRP exhaust for the process areas

For Bengaluru's weld lines, solder stations, grinding bays and corrosive process areas, you need correctly sized exhaust, and in chemical and solvent-heavy areas, FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) corrosion-proof exhaust rather than ordinary steel. Weld and fabrication lines in Peenya throw off metal fume that has to be pulled off the operator's breathing zone; grinding bays release fine dust and heat; electronics reflow and hand-solder lines in Whitefield and Bommasandra release solder smoke; and pharma and chemical units give off solvent vapour that is both a health and a safety concern.

Exhaust does two jobs at once on a Bengaluru process floor. First, it pulls out the machine and process heat so the area stays comfortable even when the shed traps it. Second, it clears the fume and vapour so operators are not breathing weld smoke, grinding dust or solder fume all shift. Sizing matters: we calculate the air-change rate your process needs and position wall and roof exhaust to sweep air across the floor and extract near the source. For pharma, plating and chemical units, including those in Bommasandra, FRP construction is the right call because solvent and acid vapour rusts mild steel fans quickly.

Our heavy-duty and FRP exhaust fans go up to around 44,000 CFM per unit, so even a large weld line, grinding bay or chemical hall can be covered with a manageable bank of fans. We design inlet and outlet positions so fresh air enters where people are and the warm, fume-laden air is pulled out near where it is generated.

Weld-fume extraction laid out to pull metal fume off the operator breathing zone.
Grinding and machine-heat exhaust to clear dust and warm air from dense Peenya machine shops.
Solder-smoke extraction for EMS and electronics assembly lines in Whitefield and Bommasandra.
FRP corrosion-proof exhaust for pharma, plating and chemical units, won't rust against solvent vapour.
Heavy fabrication and weld bays evacuated fast with high-capacity exhaust.
Up to ~44,000 CFM per fan; sized to your process air-change requirement.

Why Aruth, and how our free survey and India-wide install work

We are a manufacturer, not a reseller, which is the main reason Bengaluru plants choose us. We build our HVLS fans, industrial and FRP exhaust fans and coolers at our workshop at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015, so our own engineers handle the survey, the install and the after-sales, and spares come from us rather than a third party. With 230-plus installations across India and a 2-year warranty on every fan, you are dealing with the people who actually made the product.

We are honest about how we serve Bengaluru. We are based in Ahmedabad, so this is not a same-city workshop and we are not going to pretend a Peenya unit gets a fan in an hour. What we do offer is a free on-site survey anywhere in the Bengaluru belt, our team travels in across Karnataka, measures your sheds, checks your machine heat and fume load, and gives you a layout and a quote that fit your floor. We then supply, install and service the job ourselves.

Because we manufacture in-house, lead times stay short even at distance, and corrosion-proof FRP impellers and custom exhaust banks are made to your spec rather than pulled off a generic shelf. Case study: a Peenya machine-tool plant, cooler shop floor and cleaner weld bays

  1. Before — the problem

A machine-tool and auto-component manufacturer in Peenya Industrial Area came to us with two problems under one roof. Their main machining shed, around 28,000 sq.ft under a tall steel roof, ran warm and stuffy through the day: with rows of CNC machines, lathes and grinders all giving off heat, a stale, warm layer of air sat trapped near the roof, the floor stayed poorly mixed, and the line of pedestal fans did almost nothing for the operators in the centre. Their weld and fabrication bay had a different complaint, metal fume hanging in the breathing zone and heat building up around the weld stations.

  2. What Aruth installed

We ran a free site survey. Our engineers travelled in from Ahmedabad, measured a roof height of about 9 m, and mapped where the machine heat and fume were collecting. Over the machining shed we installed four 7.3 m HVLS fans, positioned so their air columns overlapped and destratified the whole floor, mixing that trapped warm roof layer back down and giving even, gentle circulation across the line. We pulled out the pedestal fans entirely, which cleared the floor and cut fan-running power sharply, since the four PMSM HVLS units together draw a fraction of what the old fan bank did.

In the weld and fabrication bay we installed a bank of heavy-duty wall and roof exhaust fans, sized to around 36,000 CFM total to match the weld and grinding load and positioned to pull metal fume off the operator breathing zone and evacuate the built-up heat. The fume cleared, the bay cooled, and operators stopped working in a haze of weld smoke. Because Bengaluru's plateau air is mild and on the drier side, we added two evaporative coolers at the tool room and packing area for focused spot relief, where they actually do useful work.

  3. The result

The plant manager's two headline wins: a machining floor that stays comfortable right through the shift, with the line holding its pace, and a weld bay where the air is finally clean to breathe. With the IE5 PMSM HVLS fans cutting fan power by up to 30% versus the old setup, the lower running cost is steadily paying back the changeover, and everything is backed by our 2-year warranty.
