Mangaluru factories work in some of the toughest air in Karnataka. Before — the problem
A seafood processing and export unit in the Baikampady Industrial Area came to us with two problems that often go together on the Mangaluru coast: their old mild-steel exhaust fans were rusting through within a year in the salty, wash-down-wet air, and the main handling and packing hall stayed hot, humid and stuffy through the day.
