HVLS, FRP Exhaust & Cooling, Ranipet & Ambur-Vaniyambadi

Industrial Exhaust Fans, Air Coolers and HVLS Fans for Ranipet's Leather, Chemical and Engineering Units

We supply and install industrial exhaust fans, air coolers and HVLS fans for Ranipet leather, tannery, chemical and engineering units, from the SIPCOT complex to the Ambur-Vaniyambadi leather cluster. Ranipet is a hot, humid leather and chemical belt, so the right answer here is rarely one product: you need FRP corrosion-proof exhaust to pull out chemical fumes, ammonia and tanning vapour, large HVLS fans to cool the big finishing and footwear assembly sheds, and air coolers only for limited worker zones. We are Aruth Ventilation Systems, an Ahmedabad manufacturer with 230-plus installs, gearless IE5 PMSM HVLS fans that cut up to 30% off fan bills, and a 2-year warranty. Our own engineers travel to Ranipet for a free on-site survey. Call +91 88665 44445.

Walk into a tannery or leather finishing unit in Ranipet on a June afternoon and you feel two problems at once. First the heat and humidity, because Ranipet sits in hot, coastal-influenced Tamil Nadu where the air is already heavy and wet. Then the chemicals, the ammonia off the wet-blue and dyeing sections, the solvent vapour off finishing, the acidic and salt-laden air that eats ordinary steel fans within a year. A footwear assembly shed two units over has a different complaint again: a big open floor full of operators where the air just sits still and hot under the roof.

We have spent years on factory floors exactly like these, and the lesson never changes here: in a humid leather and chemical town, you lead with air movement and extraction, not with evaporative cooling. Air coolers work by adding moisture to the air, and in Ranipet's already-humid climate that does very little, so we keep coolers to limited worker zones and dry dispatch areas. The real work is done by HVLS fans that move a steady breeze across the big sheds and by FRP corrosion-proof exhaust that physically pulls the fumes, ammonia and humidity out of the building.

Ranipet's industry mix makes the spread of needs wide. The SIPCOT complex runs leather and tanning alongside chemicals, electrical equipment and a growing automobile base, and BHEL anchors the heavy electrical engineering side. Around it, the Ambur-Vaniyambadi leather cluster is one of South India's largest tanning, footwear and leather-goods belts. A tannery needs corrosion-proof extraction; a BHEL-type fabrication shed needs whole-floor cooling and weld-fume exhaust; a footwear assembly hall needs gentle HVLS airflow over hundreds of workers. Each gets a different answer.

We are honest about how we serve Ranipet. We are an Ahmedabad manufacturer, so we are not a same-town workshop here. What we do is send our own engineers to Ranipet for a free on-site survey, measure your sheds and your fume, heat and humidity load, and give you a layout and a written quote that fit your floor. Then we supply, install and service the job ourselves rather than handing you to a local dealer. With 230-plus installations across India and a 2-year warranty on every fan, the free survey is the fastest first step.

SIPCOT: Leather & tanning, Chemicals, Electrical equipment, Automobiles
1/2

Ranipet's flagship estate, mixing leather and tanning units with chemical plants, electrical-equipment makers and a growing automobile base. The tanning and chemical units throw off ammonia, acid mist and solvent vapour that demand FRP corrosion-proof exhaust, while the electrical, engineering and automobile sheds take large HVLS fans for whole-floor cooling plus weld-fume exhaust over the lines.

Why Ranipet's leather and chemical units need FRP exhaust first

For Ranipet's tanneries, dyeing units and chemical plants, the first priority is FRP corrosion-proof exhaust, because the air inside these units destroys ordinary steel fans fast. Tanning and finishing throw off ammonia, sulphide gases, solvent vapour from finishing and acidic, salt-laden mist, and in Ranipet's humid coastal-influenced climate that corrosive load is worse, not better. A mild-steel exhaust fan in a wet-blue or dyeing section can rust through in under a year, while FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) impellers and casings shrug it off.

Exhaust does two jobs at once on a leather or chemical floor. First it physically pulls the ammonia, chemical fumes and tanning vapour out of the building so operators are not breathing them all shift, which matters for both health and the inspectors. Second it clears the humidity and heat that build up over wet processing, sizing and drying, so the shed stays workable rather than turning into a sticky, foul-smelling box. We size the air-change rate your process actually needs and position wall and roof exhaust to sweep air across the floor and extract near the source.

Our FRP and heavy-duty exhaust fans go up to around 44,000 CFM per unit, so even a large tannery hall, dyeing section or chemical plant room can be covered with a manageable bank of fans. We design where fresh air comes in and where the fume-laden air goes out, so you get a proper sweep rather than dead corners where ammonia and humidity pool.

FRP corrosion-proof construction for tanning, dyeing, bleaching and chemical air, won't rust like mild steel.
Pulls ammonia, sulphide gases, solvent vapour and tanning fumes off the operator breathing zone.
Clears the humidity and heat that build up over wet processing and drying.
Up to ~44,000 CFM per fan; sized to your process air-change requirement.
Inlet and outlet laid out to sweep the whole hall, no dead corners where fumes pool.

HVLS fans for footwear, finishing and engineering sheds

For Ranipet's large footwear assembly halls, leather finishing sheds and BHEL-type engineering and fabrication floors, HVLS (High-Volume, Low-Speed) fans are the right tool because they move huge volumes of air at a gentle breeze across the whole floor. In a humid town like Ranipet, that steady air movement is what makes the difference: it lifts sweat off the skin and feels 3 to 5 degrees cooler even though it is not lowering the actual temperature, and it reaches hundreds of operators on a footwear or assembly line, not just the few standing in front of a pedestal fan.

HVLS fans also de-stratify a tall shed, mixing the hot, stale layer trapped near the roof back down so the floor circulates evenly. On a footwear assembly line or a finishing shed, that even, gentle airflow keeps operators sharper through the back half of the shift, and there is no hard draught to disturb light leather pieces, cut parts or paperwork. In a BHEL-style fabrication shed it cools the open floor while exhaust handles the weld fume at the source.

We make five sizes, 2.4 m, 3.6 m, 4.9 m, 6.1 m and 7.3 m, running on IE5 gearless PMSM motors that draw roughly 0.4 to 1.7 kW each. One 7.3 m fan covers up to around 20,000 sq.ft of open floor, so a big footwear or finishing shed in the Ambur-Vaniyambadi belt often needs only a handful of fans where it would otherwise run dozens of wall or pedestal fans. Fewer fans, up to 30% lower fan power, and a clear floor.

Gentle whole-floor breeze that feels 3 to 5 degrees cooler, ideal for humid Ranipet sheds.
Reaches hundreds of operators on footwear and finishing assembly lines, not just one corner.
Covers up to ~20,000 sq.ft per 7.3 m fan; five sizes from 2.4 m to 7.3 m.
IE5 gearless PMSM motors draw only ~0.4 to 1.7 kW, up to 30% less than conventional fans.
No hard draught to disturb light leather pieces, cut parts or paperwork.

Where air coolers fit (and where they don't) in humid Ranipet

For Ranipet, we are honest that air coolers play a limited role, because evaporative cooling works by adding moisture, and Ranipet's air is already hot and humid. Pushing more water vapour into a wet-blue hall, a dyeing section or a finishing shed makes the air feel heavier, not cooler, and it can make corrosion and product problems worse. So unlike a dry inland town, we do not lead with coolers here.

Where coolers do earn their place is in limited, drier worker zones: an enclosed QC or inspection cabin, a dry dispatch or packing area, a security or supervisor station, or an isolated workstation away from the wet processing. In those spots an industrial or portable evaporative cooler gives targeted relief to the specific people working there, and because it is portable you can move it to wherever the crew needs it that week.

The honest order for a Ranipet unit is HVLS and exhaust first, coolers last. We cool the big sheds with HVLS, pull the fumes and humidity out with FRP exhaust, and then drop coolers only into the dry pockets where they actually help. If a supplier tells you to cool a humid tannery hall with banks of coolers, walk away, in this climate that is the wrong tool.

Coolers add moisture, so they are limited use in already-humid Ranipet.
Good for dry worker zones: QC cabins, dispatch, packing, supervisor stations.
Portable, move them to the crew that needs spot relief that week.
Never the main cooling system here, HVLS and exhaust come first.

Ahmedabad manufacturer, full service across Ranipet and Tamil Nadu

We are a manufacturer, not a reseller, which is the main reason Ranipet units choose us. We build our HVLS fans, industrial and FRP exhaust fans and coolers at our workshop at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015, so our own engineers handle the survey, the install and the after-sales, and spares come from us rather than a third party. That also means corrosion-proof FRP exhaust banks and custom sizes are made to your spec rather than pulled off a generic shelf.

We are honest about how we serve Ranipet and Tamil Nadu. We are based in Ahmedabad, so this is not a same-town workshop and we will not pretend a Ranipet tannery gets a fan in an hour. What we do offer is a free on-site survey anywhere in Ranipet and the Ambur-Vaniyambadi belt, our team travels in, measures your sheds and your fume, heat and humidity load, and gives you a layout and a quote that fit your floor. We then supply, install and service the job ourselves.

Because we manufacture in-house, lead times stay short even at distance. Whether you run a tannery in Vaniyambadi, a chemical unit in SIPCOT, a footwear factory near Ambur or an engineering shed in the BHEL belt, you deal with one team for survey, fabrication, installation and after-sales. With 230-plus installations across India and a 2-year warranty on every fan, the free survey is the fastest way to a number you can trust.

Case study: a Vaniyambadi tannery and footwear unit clears its fumes and cools its assembly floor

  1. Before — the problem

A leather unit in the Vaniyambadi belt near Ranipet came to us with two problems under one roof. Their wet-blue and finishing section was thick with ammonia and solvent vapour, and the humid coastal air made it worse, their old mild-steel wall fans had rusted through and were barely moving the foul air out. Two halls over, their footwear assembly shed, around 24,000 sq.ft under a tall roof, ran hot and still through the afternoon, with a row of pedestal fans doing almost nothing for the operators in the centre.

  2. What Aruth installed

We ran a free on-site survey. Our engineers travelled in from Ahmedabad, measured both areas and mapped where the ammonia and humidity were pooling. In the wet processing and finishing section we installed a bank of FRP corrosion-proof wall and roof exhaust fans, sized to the air-change rate the chemical load demanded and totalling around 38,000 CFM, positioned to pull the ammonia and solvent vapour off the operator breathing zone and clear the trapped humidity.

Over the footwear assembly shed we installed two 7.3 m HVLS fans, positioned so their air columns overlapped and washed the whole floor with a steady breeze. We pulled out the old pedestal fans, which cleared the floor and cut fan-running power sharply, since the two PMSM HVLS units together draw a fraction of what the old fan bank did. For the dry dispatch area we added one portable cooler for spot relief during peak summer.

  3. The result

The owner's two headline wins: a wet processing hall where the ammonia and humidity finally clear instead of hanging in the air, and an assembly floor that stays comfortable right through the afternoon shift. With the IE5 PMSM HVLS fans cutting fan power by up to 30% versus the old setup and FRP exhaust that will not rust out in this climate, the changeover is paying back steadily, and everything is backed by our 2-year warranty.
