Before — the problem
A stainless-steel fabrication and re-rolling unit in Salem came to us with a problem every steel floor in the city knows: a roughly 22,000 sq.ft high-bay shed where furnace radiation, weld heat and 40 C summer air left the working floor hot all day, and where a row of pedestal fans only pushed warm, smoky air around at head height without clearing it.
What Aruth installed
Our engineers did a free on-site survey, measured a roof height of about 9 m, and mapped where the heat was stratifying under the roof and where weld smoke was collecting over the fabrication bays. The recommendation was a combination: three 7.3 m HVLS fans over the open floor to destratify and create a steady whole-floor breeze, plus four high-capacity industrial wall exhaust fans (around 40,000 CFM total) on the furnace and weld-bay wall to physically pull the heat and metal fumes out of the building.
The result
After installation the floor ran noticeably cooler, the furnace haze cleared, and because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors the unit replaced roughly 18 pedestal fans with far lower running cost. The fans carry our 2-year warranty, and our team handled survey, fabrication and installation as one job.
