Before — the problem

Around 14,000 sq.ft of welding and sub-assembly sat under a high roof, and by mid-afternoon the floor was reading 39 to 40C with weld smoke hanging over the line. The result: floor-level temperature dropped a felt 4 to 5C, the weld smoke cleared off the line, and the noise came right down. On their long shift hours the owner is looking at payback inside roughly two years on fan power alone, before counting the steadier shifts and cleaner air.
