HVLS, Exhaust & Cooling, Pune & Pimpri-Chinchwad
HVLS Fans, Industrial Exhaust & Air Coolers for Pune's Automobile, Engineering & Electronics Plants
We are Aruth Ventilation Systems, and we supply and install HVLS fans, industrial exhaust, FRP exhaust and air coolers across Pune's automobile and engineering belt, from Chakan and Ranjangaon MIDC to Bhosari, Talegaon and Hinjewadi. Pune is India's largest auto manufacturing region, and the same plant often needs three things at once: gentle HVLS de-stratification over vast assembly and warehouse sheds, weld-fume and paint-shop exhaust over the lines, and evaporative cooling at hot stations. We make all of it, our HVLS fans run IE5 gearless PMSM motors that cut fan power by up to 30%, every fan carries a 2-year warranty, and we bring all of this to your floor with a free on-site survey. We are based in Ahmedabad and our own engineers travel in across Maharashtra. Call +91 88665 44445.
Walk a press shop or weld line in Chakan or Bhosari on a May afternoon and the heat hits you in layers: 38 to 40 degrees outside, then the press tooling, the weld robots and the curing ovens radiating their own heat on top of it. Two bays over, in a 30,000 sq.ft assembly shed, the problem is different, the air just sits there, hot near the roof, stale at the floor, and operators on the line slow down through the second half of the shift. Same plant, two completely different ventilation jobs.
We have spent years on factory floors solving exactly this, and the mistake we see most across the Pune belt is one solution forced everywhere: somebody puts a row of wall fans in a tall assembly shed and wonders why the centre is still warm, or runs ordinary exhaust over a foundry and weld line that needs far more extraction than it got. Pune's plants are big, tall and process-heavy, and they reward getting the mix right.
This page lays out the right combination for a Pune unit, area by area: HVLS fans for de-stratification and gentle whole-floor cooling over assembly, machine shops and warehouses; heavy-duty and FRP exhaust for weld fumes, paint-shop solvent vapour, foundry heat and corrosive process air; and industrial and portable coolers for spot relief at hot stations. We manufacture every one of these and install across Chakan, Ranjangaon, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Talegaon, Hinjewadi, Talawade, Pirangut and Shirwal.
Aruth Ventilation has completed 230-plus installations across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. We are honest about how we serve Pune: we are an Ahmedabad manufacturer, so we are not a same-city workshop here. Instead our own engineers travel in for a free site survey, and we handle supply, install and after-sales ourselves rather than handing you to a local dealer. For a layout and a number that fit your shed, the free survey is the fastest first step.

Chakan MIDC
MIDC: Automobiles, EV, Auto components, EngineeringPune's flagship auto hub, packed with OEM plants, EV makers and component suppliers running press shops, weld lines, paint shops and huge assembly sheds. These tall, open spans are the classic HVLS de-stratification case, gentle whole-floor airflow over the line, with heavy-duty weld-fume and paint-shop exhaust pulling the hot, solvent-laden air out near the source.
Why Pune's auto and engineering plants need a proper ventilation mix
Pune is India's largest automobile manufacturing region, and that scale is exactly what makes ventilation here a real engineering job rather than a few fans on a wall. The Chakan, Ranjangaon and Pimpri-Chinchwad belt has thousands of units running press shops, weld lines, paint shops, foundries, machine shops and vast assembly and warehouse sheds, and almost every one of those areas throws off a different combination of heat, fume and humidity.
The heat is layered. Pune summers sit around 38 to 40 degrees, and on top of ambient heat you have process heat from presses, weld robots, curing ovens, furnaces and forging. In a tall steel-roof shed, that heat rises and stratifies, a hot stale layer trapped near the roof while the floor stays poorly mixed. Add weld fumes, paint-shop solvent vapour and foundry smoke, and you have air that is hot, layered and unhealthy to breathe all at once.
So a Pune plant usually needs all three of our product families, matched to the area: HVLS to de-stratify and gently cool the big open sheds, exhaust to extract fumes and heat at the source, and coolers for targeted relief at hot stations. Get the match right and you cool the floor, clear the fumes, lift productivity through the back half of the shift, and stop wasting power on dozens of small fans that barely move the air.
HVLS fans for assembly, machine shops and warehouses
For Pune's large assembly lines, machine shops and warehouse sheds, HVLS (High-Volume, Low-Speed) fans are the right tool because they move enormous volumes of air at a gentle, low-velocity breeze and de-stratify the shed, mixing the trapped hot layer near the roof back down and circulating the entire floor evenly. A single large HVLS fan creates a slow column of air that spreads across the floor, instead of the narrow blast you get from pedestal or wall fans that only helps the few people standing right in front.
That gentle, even airflow is what lifts productivity on an auto line. Operators working a full shift in a well-circulated 2 to 4 degree cooler-feeling environment stay sharper and quicker than those wilting under a stale roof layer, and in a warehouse the same de-stratification keeps stored goods and the picking crew comfortable. There is no hard draught to disturb light parts, paperwork or assembly work.
We make five sizes, 2.4 m, 3.6 m, 4.9 m, 6.1 m and 7.3 m, drawing roughly 0.4 to 1.7 kW each on IE5 gearless PMSM motors. One 7.3 m fan covers up to around 20,000 sq.ft of open floor, so a big Chakan or Ranjangaon assembly or warehouse shed often needs only a handful of fans where it would otherwise run dozens of pedestal fans. Fewer fans, far less power, and a clear floor.
Weld-fume, paint-shop & FRP exhaust for the process areas
For Pune's weld lines, paint shops, foundries and corrosive process areas, you need correctly sized exhaust, and in fume and humidity-heavy areas, FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) corrosion-proof exhaust rather than ordinary steel. Weld lines throw off metal fume that has to be pulled off the operator's breathing zone; paint shops give off solvent vapour that is both a health and a safety concern; foundries and forging shops radiate intense heat that exhaust has to evacuate fast.
Exhaust does two jobs at once on a process floor. First, it pulls out hot air and process heat from welding, curing ovens and furnaces so the area stays workable. Second, it clears the fume and vapour so operators are not breathing weld smoke or solvent all shift. Sizing matters: we calculate the air-change rate your process needs and position wall and roof exhaust to sweep air across the floor and extract near the source, not just churn one corner. For paint shops and any acid, pharma or washdown-humidity area, FRP construction means the fans do not corrode and fail in eighteen months the way mild steel does.
Our heavy-duty and FRP exhaust fans go up to around 44,000 CFM per unit, so even a large weld line, paint shop or foundry can be covered with a manageable bank of fans. We design inlet and outlet positions so fresh air enters where people are and the hot, fume-laden air is pulled out near where it is generated.
Industrial & portable coolers for spot relief at hot stations
For specific hot spots, near furnaces, forging hammers, curing ovens, packing and loading bays, industrial and portable air coolers and mist (man-cooler) fans give targeted evaporative relief where overhead airflow alone is not enough. These are the finishing touch, not the whole solution: you cool the big shed with HVLS and clear the process area with exhaust, then drop coolers in where individual people are working in radiant heat.
Evaporative coolers and mist man-cooler fans drop the felt temperature sharply right at the workstation, which works well in Pune's dry pre-monsoon heat. We are careful where we recommend them, in an already-humid washdown or process hall, adding moisture is the wrong move, so there we lean on exhaust and HVLS and keep misting to the drier areas like dispatch, loading bays and open machine stations.
Because they are portable, coolers and man-cooler fans also cover seasonal and shift-by-shift needs, roll them to wherever the crew is working hardest that week, whether that is a forging bay in summer or a packing line during a peak dispatch run.
Why Aruth, and how our free survey and India-wide install work
We are a manufacturer, not a reseller, which is the main reason Pune plants choose us. We build our HVLS fans, industrial and FRP exhaust fans and coolers at our workshop at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015, so our own engineers handle the survey, the install and the after-sales, and spares come from us rather than a third party. With 230-plus installations across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan and a 2-year warranty on every fan, you are dealing with the people who actually made the product.
We are honest about how we serve Pune. We are based in Ahmedabad, so this is not a same-city workshop and we are not going to pretend a Chakan unit gets a fan in an hour. What we do offer is a free on-site survey anywhere in the Pune belt, our team travels in across Maharashtra, measures your sheds, and gives you a layout and a quote that fit your floor. We then supply, install and service the job ourselves.
Because we manufacture in-house, lead times stay short even at distance, and corrosion-proof FRP impellers and custom exhaust banks are made to your spec rather than pulled off a generic shelf. Whether you run an assembly plant in Ranjangaon, a foundry in Bhosari or a pharma unit in Shirwal, the free survey is the fastest way to a number you can trust.
From the field
Verified installCase study: a Chakan MIDC auto-component plant, cooler assembly floor and cleaner weld bays
Before — the problem
An auto-component manufacturer in Chakan MIDC came to us with two problems under one roof. Their main assembly and sub-assembly shed, around 32,000 sq.ft under a tall steel roof, ran hot and stuffy through the afternoon shift: a stale layer of air sat near the roof, the floor stayed poorly mixed, and the row of pedestal fans on the line did almost nothing for the operators in the centre. Their weld and fabrication bay had a different complaint, metal fume hanging in the breathing zone and heat building up around the weld stations.
What Aruth installed
We ran a free site survey, our engineers travelled in from Ahmedabad and measured both areas. Over the assembly shed we installed four 7.3 m HVLS fans, positioned so their air columns overlapped and de-stratified the whole floor, mixing that trapped hot roof layer back down and giving even, gentle circulation across the line. We pulled out the pedestal fans entirely, which cleared the floor and cut fan-running power sharply, since the four PMSM HVLS units together draw a fraction of what the old fan bank did.
In the weld and fabrication bay we installed a bank of heavy-duty wall and roof exhaust fans, sized to the air-change rate the weld load demanded and positioned to pull metal fume off the operator breathing zone and evacuate the built-up heat. The fume cleared, the bay temperature came down, and operators stopped working in a haze of weld smoke. We added two portable coolers at the dry packing-and-dispatch area for spot relief during peak summer.
The result
The plant manager's two headline wins: an assembly floor that stays comfortable right through the afternoon shift, with the line holding its pace, and a weld bay where the air is finally clean to breathe. With the IE5 PMSM HVLS fans cutting fan power by up to 30% versus the old setup, the lower running cost is steadily paying back the changeover, and everything is backed by our 2-year warranty.
