HVLS Fans, Industrial Exhaust & Coolers in Solapur for Textile, Garment & Engineering Units
We are Aruth Ventilation Systems, an Ahmedabad-based manufacturer that supplies and installs HVLS fans, industrial exhaust and FRP corrosion-proof exhaust, and air coolers for Solapur textile, garment and engineering units. For Solapur's terry-towel weaving sheds, chadar units, garment floors, cement, sugar and camshaft foundries fighting 44C dry summer heat plus loom dust and process heat, we bring the right HVLS fans industrial exhaust mix on-site. With 230+ installations, gearless IE5 PMSM motors that cut up to 30% off conventional fan bills, and a 2-year warranty, we offer a free on-site survey in Solapur. Call +91 88665 44445.
Walk into a terry-towel weaving shed off Akkalkot Road in May and you feel Solapur's particular problem straight away. Outside it is touching 44C in that dry Marathwada-edge heat; under the asbestos roof it is easily 47-48C, and the air is full of cotton lint coming off the looms. We have stood on exactly these floors, and the issue here is never just heat: it is dry radiant heat plus loom dust plus process warmth, all at once, on floors where people work twelve-hour shifts. The right answer is never one product, it is the right product for that specific load.
Solapur is India's terry-towel and chadar hub, and that gives the city a ventilation profile you do not see everywhere. Powerlooms and textile-park weaving units throw off heat and fine cotton lint. Garment and stitching floors need steady comfort airflow without blowing fabric around. Then around the textile core sit cement, sugar, agricultural-equipment makers and the camshaft and foundry units that Solapur is quietly known for, where you have molten-metal heat, sand dust and smoke. Each of these needs a different answer, and a fan that is perfect over a garment floor is useless next to a foundry furnace.
Now the honest part, because Solapur owners ask us this first. We are based in Ahmedabad, not in Solapur, so we are not a same-city workshop you can walk into. What we are is a manufacturer that installs across Maharashtra, including Solapur, with our own engineers travelling in. We carry our own fans, run the airflow numbers on your floor, mount, wire and commission them, and then come back for service under the 2-year warranty. You get factory-direct pricing and a real engineer on site, not a local dealer passing a brochure across the table.
This page lays out which Aruth system fits which Solapur problem, estate by estate, from the Akkalkot Road and Chincholi MIDC to the textile park and powerloom cluster. Wherever your unit sits in Solapur, the first step is the same and it is free: an on-site survey, an airflow calculation, and a written quote with no obligation.

Solapur MIDC (Akkalkot Road / Chincholi)
MIDC: Textiles, garments, engineering, foundriesThis is Solapur's main industrial belt off Akkalkot Road and around Chincholi, a real mix of textile units, garment floors, engineering shops and camshaft and foundry units. The loads stack up here: dry 44C summer heat and loom lint in the textile sheds, but furnace heat, sand dust and smoke in the foundries. We mix HVLS over the open weaving and machining bays with strong exhaust to pull furnace heat and casting smoke out of the foundry units, plus FRP exhaust wherever plating or chemical fumes are involved.
Which Aruth system solves which Solapur problem
The short answer for Solapur: HVLS fans for the big open textile and garment floors, industrial exhaust to physically pull out heat, lint and foundry smoke, FRP exhaust where chemical or plating fumes corrode steel, and air coolers for spot relief at workstations. Most Solapur units we fit end up with a combination, because the loads stack, a terry-towel weaving shed needs HVLS for the weavers AND exhaust to clear lint-heavy hot air near the roof.
The deciding factor is what is actually in your air. If the problem is hot, still, dry air over a big shed, a powerloom hall, a garment floor, an agricultural-equipment assembly bay, HVLS is the answer: one 7.3 m gearless fan moves a gentle 1-2 m/s breeze across up to about 20,000 sq.ft on under 1.7 kW. If the problem is something you must physically get out of the building, furnace heat in a camshaft foundry, casting smoke, cotton lint, sugar-mill process heat, you need exhaust. And in any corrosive air, plating lines, chemical handling, you need FRP corrosion-proof exhaust that will not rust out in a year.
Why Solapur textile and engineering units switch to gearless HVLS
The number that moves Solapur owners is the power bill. Our HVLS fans run on IE5 gearless PMSM motors, so a single 7.3 m fan covers up to about 20,000 sq.ft on roughly 1.5-1.7 kW, replacing 15-20 conventional wall or pedestal fans that together draw far more and cool far less. Across our installs that works out to up to 30% lower fan-related power, with typical payback inside 18-30 months depending on how many hours your looms or floors run.
Gearless also means almost no maintenance, there is no gearbox to leak oil onto your towels or chadars, and no gears to seize up in Solapur's dry, lint-heavy air. The PMSM motor and the wide, slow blade also kick up far less lint than a row of high-speed wall fans, which matters a lot on a weaving floor. Add the 2-year warranty and the maths is straightforward. We run the actual numbers for your shed during the free survey: floor area, truss height, headcount, your current fan count and your MSEDCL tariff, then show you the kW saved and the payback in months before you commit to anything.
How our free Solapur site survey and India-wide install works
We are honest about this: Aruth is based in Ahmedabad, so Solapur service runs through our team travelling in, not a same-city workshop. In practice that works smoothly, because we install all over India, including across Maharashtra, and we plan Solapur visits properly rather than rushing a local dealer out. An experienced Aruth engineer comes to your unit in the MIDC or the textile park, measures the floor area and truss height, checks your heat, lint, fume and dust load, and gives you a recommended fan layout with an airflow calculation and a written quote.
Because we manufacture our own fans in Ahmedabad, you get factory-direct pricing, spares from our own shelf, and our own engineers handling the survey, install and after-sales rather than a third party. For a confirmed Solapur order, we coordinate delivery and a scheduled install crew so the whole job, mounting, wiring and commissioning, is done in one planned visit. The survey itself is genuinely free and carries no obligation, whether you run ten looms or a full foundry. Call +91 88665 44445 to book it.
From the field
Verified installCase study: a Solapur terry-towel weaving unit beating 47C lint-heavy heat
Before — the problem
A terry-towel weaving unit off Akkalkot Road in the Solapur MIDC called us at the peak of summer. They had around 90 looms across a roughly 16,000 sq.ft shed under a low asbestos roof, and by afternoon the floor was running 46-47C in that dry Solapur heat. They had 20 wall-mounted fans going flat out, noisy, throwing cotton lint everywhere, and barely moving the air where the weavers stood. Thread breakages were climbing and operators were leaving the floor through the hottest hours.
What Aruth installed
Our engineer travelled to Solapur, surveyed the shed, ran the airflow numbers, and replaced all 20 wall fans with three 6.1 m gearless HVLS fans laid out to wash the whole floor with a steady 1.5-2 m/s breeze at operator height. Total connected load for the three fans came in well under what the 20 wall fans had been drawing, and because the new fans turn slow and wide, far less lint was being kicked up into the air and the cloth.
The result
The result: floor-level temperature dropped a felt 4-5C, the lint settled, and the noise came right down. On their running hours the owner is looking at payback inside roughly two years on fan power alone, before counting the fewer thread breakages and steadier shifts. The three fans are covered by our 2-year warranty and serviced by our own team on scheduled Solapur visits.
