HVLS, Exhaust & Cooling, Sangli / Ichalkaranji
HVLS Fans and Industrial Exhaust for Ichalkaranji Textile Powerloom and Sangli Factories
Aruth Ventilation Systems supplies and installs HVLS fans, industrial exhaust fans and air coolers across Sangli and Ichalkaranji, with HVLS fans and industrial exhaust built for the dense textile powerloom sheds that define this belt. We are a manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, so we serve Sangli and Ichalkaranji by sending our own team in for a free on-site survey, then fabricating and installing, not by quoting from a dealer next door. We have completed 230+ installations across India including Maharashtra, our IE5 gearless PMSM HVLS fans cut fan-related power bills by up to 30%, and every fan carries a 2-year warranty.
Ichalkaranji is one of the busiest powerloom and textile-processing towns in India, often called the Manchester of Maharashtra, and the ventilation problem here is unlike anywhere else we work. A typical loom shed packs dozens of looms into a low, tightly built room where fibre dust, lint, machine heat and humidity all build up together, and the weavers stand in that air for a full shift. The looms themselves throw off heat and need a certain humidity for the yarn, so you cannot simply open everything up, you have to move and exchange the air in a controlled way. That is exactly the gap HVLS air circulation and proper exhaust ventilation fill.
Around Ichalkaranji and Sangli the industry spreads well beyond weaving. There is sizing, dyeing and processing, yarn spinning and twisting, food processing tied to the local turmeric and grape crops, general engineering, and foundries. Each of these has its own air problem: dyeing and processing units fight acid mist, steam and corrosive humidity that rusts ordinary steel fans; foundries fight intense radiant heat and smoke; food units fight heat and the need for clean, moving air. One product does not solve all of this, which is why we recommend a measured mix for each shed.
We cover the full ventilation stack so you deal with one team for the whole site: HVLS fans from 2.4 m up to 7.3 m for broad, gentle air movement across loom sheds and large floors, where one 7.3 m fan covers up to about 20,000 sq.ft; industrial and FRP corrosion-proof exhaust fans up to about 44,000 CFM to pull out fibre dust, dyeing acid mist, steam, heat and humidity; and industrial and portable air coolers for spot cooling at workstations and packing areas.
We are honest about how we serve this region. Aruth is based in Ahmedabad and we install all over India, including across Maharashtra, but Sangli and Ichalkaranji are not a same-city workshop for us. We serve you by travelling in: you call, we schedule a free on-site survey, an experienced engineer measures your shed, and then we fabricate and install. For a cluster of units, or for a whole estate, that travel is well worth it, and the free survey costs you nothing either way. Call us on +91 88665 44445 to book yours.

Industrial areas we serve around Sangli / Ichalkaranji
We install across these estates and the units inside them, survey, supply, mounting, wiring and after-sales.
Ichalkaranji Powerloom Cluster / MIDC
MIDC / textile clusterThe heart of the region: thousands of powerlooms plus textile processing, dyeing and yarn units packed into dense sheds. Looms generate fibre dust, lint and heat while dyeing and sizing add steam and corrosive acid mist, so most units here need HVLS fans to keep air moving over the weavers together with FRP corrosion-proof exhaust to physically pull the dust, humidity and acid mist out before they choke the shed and rust the machines.
Which product solves which Sangli and Ichalkaranji problem
The right fix here depends on whether your problem is stagnant heat, fibre dust, corrosive dyeing air, or foundry smoke, and most units need a combination. A powerloom shed and a foundry do not get the same answer, and we never pretend they do.
For dense Ichalkaranji loom sheds the issue is heat plus hanging fibre dust over tired weavers, so we put HVLS fans across the shed to keep a steady, gentle breeze moving (one 7.3 m fan covers up to about 20,000 sq.ft and feels 3 to 5 C cooler) and pair them with wall exhaust to draw the lint-laden, humid air out. For dyeing, sizing and processing units the air carries acid mist and steam, and that is where FRP corrosion-proof exhaust fans earn their place, because ordinary galvanised steel fans rust through within a year in that atmosphere. For Kupwad and Miraj foundries and engineering sheds the problem is radiant heat and smoke, so we combine HVLS air movement over the floor with high-CFM industrial exhaust up to about 44,000 CFM. For food-processing, packing and workstation areas through the Maharashtra summer, industrial and portable air coolers give targeted spot cooling without trying to cool the whole building.
Why Sangli and Ichalkaranji factories choose Aruth
Sangli and Ichalkaranji units choose us because we are a manufacturer who measures your shed before quoting, not a trader selling one fan size for every problem. We build HVLS fans, industrial and FRP exhaust fans and air coolers at our own workshop at GF-001 Mauryansh Elanza, Shyamal Cross Rd, Satellite, Ahmedabad 380015, which means factory pricing, custom sizes fabricated in-house, and one team handling survey, fabrication, installation and after-sales.
It also means our recommendation is built around the powerloom belt's real conditions: the low rooflines and tight loom spacing of Ichalkaranji sheds, the acid mist and steam of the dyeing and processing units, and the radiant heat of the Kupwad and Miraj foundries. We size fans to your shed, not to a template, we use FRP wherever the air is corrosive so the fan lasts, and we stand behind every fan with a 2-year warranty.
Our free site survey and installation across India
We give every Sangli and Ichalkaranji customer a free on-site survey, and we supply and install all over India, including across Maharashtra. Because we are based in Ahmedabad and not in the powerloom belt itself, we serve you by travelling in: when you call, we schedule the survey, send an experienced engineer to your shed, and plan the job around one trip so it is efficient for a single unit or a whole cluster of looms.
On the survey we measure floor area, roof height, loom or machine heat load, the fibre dust or acid mist in the air, and the openings you already have, then recommend the right mix of HVLS fans, exhaust and cooling with honest sizing. If several units in the same estate book together, the travel is shared and the visit is even more worthwhile. Whether you are a single loom shed in Ichalkaranji, a dyeing unit, or a foundry in Kupwad MIDC, you deal with one team from survey to AMC. Call us on +91 88665 44445 to book your free Sangli or Ichalkaranji survey.
From the field
Verified installCase study: an Ichalkaranji powerloom and dyeing unit clears dust and cools its sheds
Before — the problem
A textile unit in the Ichalkaranji powerloom cluster, running both a weaving shed and an attached dyeing section, came to us with two problems in one building. The loom shed was a low, tightly packed room where fibre dust and lint hung in the air over the weavers and the machine heat made afternoons unbearable, while the dyeing section was steamy and acidic, and a previous set of galvanised steel exhaust fans had rusted through in barely a year.
What Aruth installed
We sent our team in for a free on-site survey, measured a roof height of about 5.5 m in the loom shed and mapped where the lint was collecting, and checked the acid mist and steam load in the dyeing section. Our recommendation was a split solution: four 4.3 m HVLS fans spaced across the loom shed to push a steady breeze down to weaver level despite the low roof, wall-mounted industrial exhaust to pull the lint and humidity out of the weaving area, and FRP corrosion-proof exhaust fans over the dyeing section so the next set of fans would not rust away.
The result
After installation the loom shed ran noticeably cooler and the hanging fibre dust cleared, while the dyeing section finally had exhaust that could survive its own air. Because the HVLS fans use IE5 gearless PMSM motors, the unit replaced close to 18 small pedestal and wall fans with far lower running cost, with fan-related power dropping sharply. Every fan carries our 2-year warranty, and even though we came in from Ahmedabad, planning the survey, fabrication and installation as one coordinated job kept it efficient for the customer.
